Mosaic Panel
Last Updated: January 30, 2014

AskingCanadians™ is the trademarked name for an online research panel operated by AskingCanadians Inc. ("AskingCanadians"). AskingCanadians conducts online surveys with members of the research panel to provide its clients with anonymous customer feedback in order to help its clients develop better products and services. Survey responses will also be used to populate AskingCanadians' Insight Engine, which is a proprietary analytical database used by Delvinia for the purpose of analysing and understanding the digital behaviours and attitudes of Canadians. Information in the Insight Engine may be used in the aggregate for marketing initiatives such as enhancing digital marketing solutions, creating data marketing products, and/or publishing industry reports. As an incentive for providing customer feedback, AskingCanadians members can earn Petro-Points™. Suncor Energy, owner of Petro-Points, has no ownership or involvement in AskingCanadians and has no access to your personal information.

AskingCanadians is committed to safeguarding your privacy. Please read the following policy to understand how your personal information will be treated as you make full use of our many offerings. This policy may change from time to time so please check back periodically. When the policy is changed, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of the privacy policy. For material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you by placing a notice on the home page of AskingCanadians .

What is Personal Information?
Personal information is any information that can identify you. This may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, identification numbers, including loyalty program card numbers, etc.

Use of your personal information:
AskingCanadians only collects your personal information once you have registered as a member, and Delvinia will not contact you directly unless you are a member. However, you may receive emails from Petro-Points about AskingCanadians providing links to the AskingCanadians website, or you may see our advertisements online. This privacy policy governs the collection, use and disclosure of personal information by AskingCanadians. If you have concerns about the collection of your personal information by other companies, or their sharing of information with AskingCanadians, please contact them to discuss their privacy policies and procedures.

The personal information provided by you to participate in the AskingCanadians panel is collected and used by AskingCanadians for market research purposes in the following ways:

You may become a member of the research panel by registering on the AskingCanadians website. Once you become a member of the research panel, AskingCanadians will send you ongoing surveys and polls from AskingCanadians' marketing and market research clients. Survey answers will be shared with these other companies in the aggregate*, but your personal information will never be shared with these other companies or anyone else without your permission. The only personal information that will be shared with these companies is loyalty program card numbers (or any other information required to confirm your loyalty program card number), which are provided to Petro-Points, for example, for the purposes of awarding points and incentive management.

AskingCanadians will also send you ongoing surveys and polls from AskingCanadians. The answers to these surveys, along with screeners from all AskingCanadians surveys will be used to populate AskingCanadians' Insight Engine. Survey answers will be analysed and may be shared with other companies in the aggregate*, but your personal information (which is information that can identify you) will never be shared with other companies. The only personal information that will be shared with these companies is loyalty program card numbers (or any other information required to confirm your loyalty program card number), which are provided to Petro-Points, for example, for the purposes of awarding points and incentive management.

*Data in the Aggregate: AskingCanadians does disclose aggregated (i.e. collective) user statistics (for example, 45% of our users are female) to prospective partners, advertisers, our clients and other third parties for marketing initiatives as described above. As personal information is information that can identify you, data in the aggregate is not considered personal information as it cannot identify you.

Information collected by AskingCanadians will be housed in Canada, as well as in other locations for operational and storage purposes, including London, England, but not in the United States of America. AskingCanadians has contracts in place with each third party service provider that contain provisions protecting your personal information to the greatest extent possible under applicable law. That being said, where personal information is stored in locations outside of Canada, such information (including rights to access and obligations to disclose) will be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. Laws protecting personal information in other jurisdictions in which AskingCanadians stores data, including personal information, may be different than the laws protecting personal information in Canada.

AskingCanadians will keep a copy of all personal information provided by each member of the research panel.

If you do not want AskingCanadians to use your information for any one of these purposes, do not participate in the panel.
